Data specialist with extensive experience in research and management. Desire to apply strong analytical and communication skills to create a comprehensive understanding of the information available. Experience in developing databases and ensuring accuracy for inventory and key metrics for measuring success. Focused on using my diverse experience in research and education to focus on data analytics and visualization to forge a new career path. LA Country Accident Analysis

This project used data the California Highway Patrol which contained information related to accidents in California. The analysis presents the use of machine learning to identify factors contributing to the severe and fatal injuries during collisions. The data is presented using Tableau and HTML to share the finding and the in-depth analysis is presented in the README.MD file.

Earthquake Webpage

This project used data from USGS and a JSON containing the location of the tectonic plates to produce an interactive map using JavaScript that shows the location of earthquakes that have been record over the last 7 days. The map contains multiple layers that can be toggled on and off as well as a variety of map view options that the user can select including the location of the tectonic plates around the planet.

Mission to Mars

This project was developed to complete a webscraping using Python and Mongo DB related to the NASA's goal to send a manned mission to Mars. Information is presented on a webpage that can be refreshed to get the most up-to-date information available.

Staffing Analysis

Database created evaluate the number of employees eligible for retirement in the coming years. The database queries were used to merge data across datasets to isolate the needed information. Results were visualized using Python from data exported from the queries.

Ride Share Data Analysis

To provide this analysis, the city data and ride data summaries were collected and merged to create an overview of the rides within a 4-month window. These datasets were analyzed using Pandas and JupyterLab to clean and sort the data to create visuals to represent the trends that could be observed.

School District Grade Evaluation

Analysis of the student grades for the district was completed to evaluate the impact of the performance of the schools by comparing the performance within the schools based on suspicions of academic dishonesty reported. The data was then summarized to allow for the analysis of the effect on the overall evaluation of the schools within the district.
